Loudoun County is a hub of activity, with a wide range of festivals and events that offer educational programs and workshops for high school and preparatory students. From Battle of the Bands to LOCO ImprovFest, StepUp Loudoun, and the 87th Annual Loudoun County Fair, there are plenty of chances for young people to learn and have fun. The Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is the central point of contact for older people (over 55) and their loved ones.
The Appalachian Chamber Music Festival will be taking place over a two-week period starting in August, with concerts, workshops, and music education programs throughout the local region. The creators of Halloween horror from Loudoun County will also be back this fall with a new event starting in October. The Loudoun County Tourism Office has also announced grants to support local tourism events and initiatives that attract visitors to the county. The first event on June 15 will provide an overview of Loudoun County's Affordable Housing Unit Purchase Program and homeowner loan programs.
Additionally, workshops will provide information on Loudoun County homebuyer programs, fire safety, home improvement and repair programs, and the Virginia Mortgage Aid Program. Loudoun's annual and programmatic events are designed to provide secondary and preparatory education in a safe and fun environment.
